YouTube star Gabi DeMartino has faced backlash online after allegedly sharing a nude childhood video of herself on OnlyFans.

DeMartino has been on YouTube since 2012, and has amassed a whopping 9.6 million followers on the channel she shares with sister Niki DeMartino

However, the 25-year-old OG YouTuber has been slammed online for sharing a video of herself as a child, allegedly captioned “won’t put my panties on.”

“Um @gabcake you better make a statement ASAP about this onlyfans shit,” one critic tweeted. “You better not be trolling with kid pics and thinking that’s OKAY.”

Following the backlash, DeMartino took to Twitter to clarify the situation, asserting that she uses the platform as a sort of “finsta”, and not to share explicit content like many others.

“A childhood video of me on the phone sayin ‘Nani says put your panties back on’ and jumping up and down laughing. I’m sorry I didn’t think that one through. period. a home-video i love to share w my friends & i use my OF as a “finsta” page where i share stuff as i would w friends,” she tweeted.

Although DeMartino doesn’t use the platform for that purpose, it’s worth noting that OnlyFans is commonly used for sharing pornographic content.

Naturally, fans and critics alike found it inappropriate that she’d share a naked childhood video on the platform.

Gabi then sent a follow-up tweet, further clarifying that she didn’t fully think out her decision to post the video, apologising to anyone who was offended. She also confirmed that the video had been removed from the platform.

Despite her apology, many fans are still upset with her actions, claiming that she knew what she was doing when she captioned the video.

Her account was deactivated following the incident, with an OnlyFans representative telling The Post that it was closed due to a “violation of the terms of service.”

Under US Federal law, “a picture of a naked child may constitute illegal child pornography if it is sufficiently sexually suggestive.” It is unclear if the video posted by DeMartino would be considered “sexually suggestive” in the eyes of the law.

At this stage, there is no indication that DeMartino will face criminal charges for the video.
