Yr Fave Cheap Piss Gossips Recalled After Pieces Of Glass Found In Bottles

Attention fellow povos: If you like drinking but you also like having money, you’ll be familiar with the wine brand Gossips, known for their dirt cheap prices and, well… their ability to be consumed via the mouth, I guess.

Well we’ve got some shit news for fans of the $3 vino and its sister line, the equally cheap Rumours, as both brands have had most of their 2017 batchs recalled due to “a packaging fault resulting in the possible presence of glass”.

Don’t absolutely lose your shit if you’ve knocked back a bottle or seven of the good (read: cheap) stuff already this year, you’re probs just fine, BUT if you have any of the following wines on hand, take ’em back to where you bought em ASAP for a full refund:

  • 2017 Gossips Chardonnay
  • 2017 Gossips Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
  • 2017 Gossips Moscato
  • 2017 Gossips Pink Moscato
  • 2017 Gossips Dolcetto and Syrah
  • 2017 Gossips Sauvignon Blanc
  • 2017 Rumours Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
  • 2017 Rumours Pinot Grigio
  • 2017 Rumours Chardonnay
  • 2017 Rumours Sauvignon Blanc
  • 2017 Rumours Moscato
  • 2017 Wine Gang Sauvignon Blanc
  • 2017 Warburn Estate Sangiovese Rose

The products have been available for sale at BWS, Dan Murphy’s, independent liquor stores and hotels nationwide. For more info, check out the Food Standards Australia and New Zealand alert here.

Booze on friends! Responsibly and preferably without tiny fragments of intestine-shredding glass.
