You Asked And We Answered: The Findings From Pedestrian’s Jobs Q&A

The process of applying to universities is harder than refusing lunch at your Nan’s house. The Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre, however, make it a hell of a lot easier. We’ve teamed up with VTAC to offer y’all some career advice – the end result of a live Q&A we hosted on our Facebook. If you’re thinking about undertaking further study, head over to VTAC’s website and apply yourself today. There’s more than 2000 courses available at 60 institutions, so basic logic suggests that you’ll find something up your alley. You can even include up to 12 preferences in one application (#winning).

Our beautiful/talented/angelic Jobs Editor – as well as P.TV’s founders, Oscar and Chris – helped answer some burning career qu’s recently during a live Q&A, and we thought we’d compile them for all to see.
Contained in the following Facebook posts are several tips for success (+ a map to El Dorado, the meaning of life and a pathetic listicle outlining all the reasons ‘why he’s not replying to your snap-story’).
Happy learning.

In addition to the above, if a mature aged student asks to join your group for an assignment, JUMP ON THAT SHIP.
They’ve given up a hell of a lot to be sitting in that lecture, so you can bet your bottom dollar they’re going to work their ass off to get a high mark – not to mention they’re a pool of infinite wisdom/insight.

As discussed, the issue probably concerns the process of applying and the means you’ve used to submit it. It’s 2015, people. We’re saturated with BS all day, eryday. Get your thinking cap on and find a way to cut through the noise.

If you have a handle on ‘what you want to be when you grow up,’ you’re in the minority. Most of us are all like:
All you can do is get out there and try a couple of things. If you never figure it out – eh *shrugs shoulders*. No biggie.
