Yassmin Abdel-Magied Is Out Of Fucks To Give In Her First ‘Hard Chat’ Roast

The next time you see someone railing against the perceived political correctness of the ABC, bloody well show ’em this.

Yassmin Abdel-Magied, the engineer and activist effectively run out of the country due to the media backlash over her infamous ANZAC Day Facebook post, appeared on last night’s episode of The Weekly to… well, endure a roast from Tom Gleeson on the show’s Hard Chat segment.

Abdel-Magied faced a barrage of questions about the post, in which she called for Australia to remember the asylum seekers it has detained overseas, and did so with some hard-earned mettle.

More than that, she played along.

“You could march at ANZAC Day. Really, really get things going,” Gleeson said.

“I think I’ll go to Canberra. I’ll be like, ‘Hey boys, how’s it going,’” Abdel-Magied served back.

When asked about her comparison between Australia and an abusive partner, Abdel-Magied offered that now she’s back, it’s clear “oh, yeah, they’re actually dicks.”

And then she railed against Reclaim Australia goons, saying Southern Cross neck tattoos… really does it for me.” And she ate a (potentially) halal ANZAC biscuit. Fucken hell.

This oughta get the people going. Watch the flagrantly over-it Abdel-Magied below:
