Disgraced Instagram Influencer Cops 17 Years In Jail For Selling Fake Pills

Wyatt Pasek

Disgraced former Instagram star Wyatt Pasek has been sentenced to 17 years behind bars, after pleading guilty to selling counterfeit pills laced with the drug fentanyl.

The 22-year-old was known for sharing photos of his extravagant lifestyle on social media, and was often pictured next to high-end cars or flashing around wads of cash.

Last November, it all came to an end when the California native pleaded guilty to charges related to drug trafficking, firearms possession and money laundering.

Per local CBS News reports, he and several accomplices operated out of a laboratory on the Balboa Peninsula, where they produced thousands of pills designed to look like oxycodone.

In fact, they were made using the highly powerful painkiller fentanyl, which had been sourced from overseas suppliers.

Wyatt Pasek was arrested in 2018, following a months-long investigation. Authorities say he sold the pills online, while boasting about his wealth under the name yung10x on Instagram.

A raid on his penthouse apartment uncovered 100,000 counterfeit oxycodone pills, as well as quantities of fentanyl and xanax and wads of cash.

He was charged alongside co-conspirators Duc Cao, aged 22, and Isaiah Suarez, aged 23, who have received seven and three-year sentences, respectively.
