Woman Who Fell Into Shark Tank At Feeding Time Somehow Walks Away Unmunched

woman falls into shark tank at feeding time

A woman in China has been filmed falling into an open shark tank at feeding time, and then miraculously being rescued with nary a scratch on her.

The harrowing moment occurred at a shopping mall called the Wuyue Plaza in China’s Zhejiang Province – exactly why there is a shark tank in a shopping mall is a mystery for another day. It appears the feeding hatch was left open on the catwalk above the shark tank, which held several lemon sharks.

The woman, who is reportedly an employee of the shopping mall, was reportedly running late for a meeting and chose to take a shortcut over the tank (it’s not a foot traffic area). As she jogged along the catwalk, the open hatch tripped her and she fell in, where two sharks immediately started circling.

A spokesperson for the mall told local media:

The gangway is off limits during feeding time but the employee was in a rush to get to a meeting.

She was quickly rescued from the tank and did not suffer any injuries.

We’re guessing the sharks had just been fed – either that, or the woman used her time in the tank to strike up a deal with them, and we’ll soon be scratching our heads over the mysteriously vanishing lemon sharks of Zhejiang Province.
