WIN: Entry To Luxe ‘Star Wars’ Inspired ‘Romance Was Born’ Runway Show

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. . . .

*DRAMATIC/CONFRONTING STAR WARS OPENING SEGMENT MUSIC*

The COVERGIRL alliance recognised the plethora of female Star Wars fans begging for a makeup range that would aid in the recreation of their favourite galactic looks. Their cries were echoed by modern, fashion forward women looking for products more fierce than an angered Tuscan Raider. So, to answer these calls, they created the COVERGIRL Star Wars Makeup Collection

To celebrate the range, Pedestrian’s teamed up with Disney and COVERGIRL to curate what could easily be the most incredible event of 2015. Keep reading for your chance to score tickets to the COVERGIRL x Star Wars party (none of which are available for purchase, soz-not-soz).

Unless you’ve been living under a Millennium Falcon-sized rock, you might have noticed that there’s a crap-tonne of hype circulating about Star Wars ATM ahead of ‘Episode VII – The Force Awakens‘ release on December 17.

When we were approached by COVERGIRL to put the bass in our walk showcase their new limited edition Star Wars Collection we began hyperventilating curating one hell of a runway show themed for your favourite space opera franchise. Because we’re not a regular online news site – we’re a cool online news site – we asked Aussie design legends Romance Was Born to create a capsule collection for the event.
In true Star Wars style, half of the looks will focus on the ‘light side’ and the others will emulate the ‘dark side’. This tension between the two sides of the Force will be an ongoing theme of the evening – the soundtrack of which will be, in part, supplied by Radelaide rapper/singer/superhuman, Tkay Maidza.

For die-hard fans, access to this exclusive event is pretty much a dream come true – and for everyone that’s a bit ‘eh‘ about Star Wars, there’s fashion and free food. If you would like to come, there won’t be any tickets for sale, you must enter to win.
How to figuratively destroy the shield generator and gain access to the inner sanctum: make sure you’re free on the evening of the 3rd of December, treat yo’ self to a COVERGIRL Star Wars Makeup Collection Product – available from November 2015 at Priceline, Big W, Woolworths, Coles, Target and Kmart and head to www.COVERGIRLStarWars.com.au for all the info on how to enter your #COVERGIRLStarWarsAU selfie.
