Of all the ungodly things you might see while cycling – bike shorts, etc – a Brisbane man has come across what is possibly the worst of the lot: a dead possum, in the gutter, being swallowed by a python.
(We assume it’s dead, but Christ, you don’t know, do you.)
(Correction: it is not dead.)
The below snuff film was filmed by Adrian Brand on Boxing Day, on Gladstone Rd in Annerley.
“It was not a dead possum like lots of news agencies are claiming, the snake was constricting the possum to death,” he wrote on YouTube. “My guess is that it caught the possum while it was sleeping in the tree above and fell to the footpath.”
Apparently the snake was 2 meters long. Band told the SMH that he came across a group of people just chilling ’round a gutter on Boxing Day morning, and went on over to see what the fuss was about. So, naturally, he starts filming the thing, but when he reached out (why) to touch the possum (why), the snake wrapped its tail around his finger.
Like, just in case there was not enough nope.
You know what another cyclist did to the possum? While the snake was attached?
You know what he did?
He fucking moved it.
And so in conclusion, the snake continued on his merry meal in a nearby garden, and Australia renewed its license for being a fucking weird country for at least another three years.
