Watch This Awesome Time-Lapse Of Numskull’s ‘Here, Now’ Mural

The Art and About Festival – a celebration of temporary art installations in Sydney – is in full swing, with a swathe of challenging, interesting, and unique artists given free reign over certain public spaces over the course of the month.

One of the more impressive, and sizeable, pieces is the almost monolithic “Here, Now” mural, painted on the exterior wall of the building at 307 Pitt Street. Put together by Sydney born and bred artist Numskull – real name Elliott Routledge – the bold, striking, typographic mural is designed to make people slow down, if only momentarily, and appreciate where they are in that particular instant.
But don’t just take our word for it, check out this beautifully shot time-lapse video of the mural being put together.
Life moves pretty fast, kids. Slow down for a second once in a while.
And check out the rest of the Art and About Festival program while you’re at it.
