WATCH: These Bunnings Ads W/ Pommy Accents Will Absolutely Ruin Your Day

As you may or may not be aware, beloved local hardware institution Bunnings Warehouse has spread beyond our golden shores and set up shop on the rainy, dreary thoughtcrime island we call the United Kingdom.

Which is all well and good. Now, the first warehouse in St Albans has opened its doors, and with it has come the ad campaign informing Poms exactly what Bunnings is and why one might go there. Obviously they’re sticking with a tried-and-true formula – because it’s exactly the same ad as we’re used to, just with British accents.
Including the jingle, too. It’s like watching a portal to a weird parallel universe ripped open before our very eyes.
It’s just… wrong. So very wrong. This is against God and I will not tolerate it. In the other spot, you even get the “where you find a competitor’s lower price on the same stocked item, we’ll beat it by 10%” slogan, which is basically our national anthem now:
Sick. Sick and evil.
