WATCH: The Trailer Has Dropped For The ‘Is OJ Simpson Innocent’ Doco Series

A new documentary series is soon coming out regarding the vicious and gory murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman
Yep, we know – there’s been heaps in the past year, beginning with drama series ‘American Crime Story: The People Vs OJ Simpson’, and also including the absolutely fantastic documentary series ‘OJ Simpson: Made in America’ (highly recommended, that series is legit incredible).
But this series is different – this is about OJ Simpson‘s innocence.
It’s called ‘Is OJ Innocent? The Missing Evidence‘, and it’s created by private investigator William C Dear, who has obsessed over the case for more than 20 years. He’s even written a book called ‘OJ Is Innocent and I Can Prove It‘. Uh huh.
Dear has long claimed that the evidence against OJ “didn’t add up”.
He says that blood was found in OJ‘s car, but only on the passenger side, plus alibis weren’t extensively checked. He says it would’ve been impossible for one person to carry out the murders.
He even has a knife that he suspects is the real murder weapon.
Over six episodes, Dear investigates his hypothesis with LAPD forensic psychologist Kris Mohandie and Rhode Island police sergeant Derrick Levasseur. They test new “evidence” and theories about who could’ve committed the murders.
Marcia Clark, who was the lead prosecutor in the Simpson trial, has already slammed the doco series, calling it “very offensive”:

“I actually know the theory and what they’re basing it on, and it’s nonsense,” she said on The Today Show last year. “There’s nothing to it.”

Woooooooooooooooah.
‘Is O.J. Innocent? The Missing Evidence’ started in the US Sunday, but in Australia, we’ll get it Feb 5th – it’ll be on Foxtel’s Discovery Channel.
