Please see below a list of my biggest fears, in order of their propensity to strike fear into my heart.
1) Being buried alive
2) Having my house broken into, specifically closing a mirrored cabinet or pantry door to see someone standing there
3) My cat going missing
4) A sinkhole swallowing my car
As you can see, home invasion is pretty high on my list. So whenever a video that appears to show someone – or something – lurking in the shadows as an unsuspecting person goes about his / her business does the rounds, I can’t help but feel sick.
The latest video creeping the Internet the fuck out shows a shadowy figure scuttle past a teenager who thinks she’s home alone, recording music in her bedroom.
The person who uploaded it to YouTube – apparently the friend of the girl in question’s cousin – said she didn’t realise anything strange until she rewatched the footage post-upload.
“My friends cousin was home alone one day making musical.lys. She had uploaded this and didn’t realize what was in the background until she rewatched it later… it is on the right side of the screen, above her left shoulder. Right in the beginning of the video. The only pet they have is a cat.”

Annnnnd, here’s a gif so you don’t have to replay as you try to figure out what the fuck that thing is (I’ve watched it at least 50 times).
Possible explanations:
– It’s a hoax. Fake news etc.
– It’s a trick of the light.
– It’s ET.
– It’s Death coming to claim her.
Either way, it’s a nope from us.
