WATCH: Tassie Legend Creates Car Ad So Smooth It’s Practically Velvet

Parting ways with your first car is always a sad day, even if the old beast has seen far better times. It’s got rust in parts, there’s knobs on the dash that have long fallen off, and she tends to grumble a fair bit on a cold winter’s morning. But it was yours, dang it. And you had more than a few good times together.
Handing it off to its next owner? That’s a tough deal.
‘Course you could simply pass on the keys and move on with your life, or you could do like this intrepid Tassie champion has and send the whip off in a manner so stylish it belongs on the cover of GQ.
Jesse Hunniford‘s beloved SAAB 900 has got to go, ahead of the young bloke’s planned move to New Zealand. It’s seen some better days aesthetically, sure, but Hunniford asserts that his mechanic reckons it’s “one of the best old cars he’s ever driven.”
Rather than simply list it in the classifieds, Hunniford has displayed the vehicle’s best side by taking it for a spin and filming just how goddamned dope you can look while piloting it.
There are professional music videos that don’t ooze this much charisma. This car has more character than a Royal Shakespeare Company show. The dang thing is so fly Raid’s developing a spray to combat it.
And the best part? It could be yours.

Hunniford’s asking $1,000 for it, which is chump change when the end result is an instant life upgrade from slopper to proper.
This isn’t just a car. It’s a goddamned lifestyle.
