Yeah, you’re right – President Barack Obama isn’t a comedian, he’s the President. With that being said, he’s cracked enough dad-jokes to earn a spot/kick-off the seventh season of Jerry Seinfeld‘s web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
In defence of the inclusion, Seinfeld says Obama “has gotten off enough funny lines to be qualified for this show.”
Personally, we don’t see why his presence on the show needed explaining to begin with – it’s fucking Obama for christ’s sake.
Jerry arrived at the White House in a 1963 Corvette Stingray Split Window Coupe for his coffee convo. After a brief chat/apple munch in the Oval Office, the duo attempt to drive out of the property only to have the po-po (Obama’s security) shut them down – y’know, cause of being president, national security etc.
After driving around the White House, banter is exchanged, anonymity is analysed, Obama takes a hit of gin (legend) and coffee is drunk.
