WATCH: Pro Skier Falls 500M Down Mountain, Lives To Legend Another Day

There are multiple levels of insanity to pro skier Ian McIntosh’s recent and unbelievable tumble down an Alaskan mountain.

A) The mountain face is so huge, so white, that it’s actually difficult to follow the footage of McIntosh’s ragdolling body on the way down, let alone his pirouetting skis;

B) His microphone picked up every single grunt and groan the poor dude exhaled over nearly 500 metres of ruthless descent;

and C) The hardy motherfucker had enough wherewithal to not only survive, but give a wave to let his crew know that no mere mountain could bring about his demise.

The crash took place – perfectly and ironically – during filming for Teton Gravity Research’s new film Paradise Awaits.

At this point, game over, dudes: McIntosh has done more first-hand research on gravity than any man ever should.
