WATCH: Nervous Year 12 Students Cop Their ATARs Via The MCG Scoreboard

In 2014, the forward-thinkers over at Deakin University decided to document students receiving their ATAR results, which resulted in varying degrees of joy and dismay from the participants (you can watch last year’s video HERE). PEDESTRIAN.TV’s partnered with Deakin once again to share this year’s video. Head to their website HERE to check out the killer courses they’ve got on offer.

In today’s edition of ‘WHY IN GOD’S NAME WOULD YOU DO THAT?’, we’d like to share a video that Deakin’s thrown together.

You may have sensed something in the air yesterday – a vibe of chaos, excitement, joviality and dismay. It’s what we’re calling the ATAR Effect: a ripple in space and time caused by graduates receiving their tertiary ranking.
Initial reactions have been mixed:
While most people chose to receive their results in the privacy of their own homes, several students WILLINGLY threw sensibility to the wind and allowed their ATAR results to be displayed on the MCG’s scoreboard.
Prepare to be kicked in all of the feels:

OH GOD – ALL THE FEELS. SO MANY FEELS.
