Paying tribute to their recently lost cast member and fellow Gleek Cory Monteith, who died from a drug overdose in Vancouver earlier this year, Glee’s touching episode “The Quarterback” dedicated its performances to farewelling their much-loved friend.
While Monteith’s IRL and on screen girlfriend Lea Michele already stirred up tears we didn’t even know we had for Glee in an acceptance speech, her below performance of Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love“, is charged with real, powerful emotion. Stop making me weep on an innocent Saturday morning, Glee. I can’t handle this.
As one of many emotional-tweeting Gleeks put it perfectly on twitter, you can’t just watch “The Quarterback” and expect to leave dry-eyed. So many feelings. Watch Lea Michele’s performance after the jump.
This is how I looked like watching gLee tonight. #RememberingCory #FarewellFinn pic.twitter.com/zYeDsfafUf
