WATCH: Kiwi News Anchors Cannot Deal With This Wildly Phallic Water Spout

FUN GEOGRAPHY FACT! A waterspout is a fascinating geographical phenomenon in which a whirlwind forms over a body of water – usually the ocean – and becomes a rotating column of water and spray.

One such waterspout appeared in New Zealand on Wednesday, and for some bizarre reason, it made the news.

The waterspout formed over Arkles Bay, just off the Whangaparaoa Peninsula on the North Island. Locals posted several images to social media of the rare phenomenon, but for some reason the Kiwi anchors could not stop laughing over this one.

They could barely tell us viewers anything about this rare sighting.

Fucking disgraceful. This is why Australian media will always be superior.
