WATCH: John Oliver Breaks Down The Staggering Cost Of Donald Trump’s Wall

For all the blisteringly ~hot takes~ there have been on Donald Trump and his quest to become the Republican Presidential Candidate (and lord, have there ever been plenty of those), his campaign trail continues to power ahead practically unabated.

Despite every left-leaning rant “destroying” Trump’s credibility and every headline proclaiming he’s been “eviscerated,” on he goes. And on. And on. And on.
It’s… it’s almost as if… the articles aren’t working; like his core-supporter base doesn’t actually read HuffPo or something? Unthinkable!
Perhaps it’s fair to say then that the push-back against the Trump machine is approaching the issue from completely the wrong angle. Trump, a known egotist with tiny, tiny, tiny fucking hands, feeds off of mentions of his name, regardless of tone. It sustains him, in the same way that the Dole gains strength from the hope of the desperate.
The ugly truth of the matter is that there isn’t going to be any one single revelation or slip-up that completely derails his campaign. This isn’t going to be like the Mitt Romney campaign that burst into flames the instant the phrase “binders full of women” fell out of his mouth like a drunk in a taxi. Trump will persist, for (maybe) better, or for (probably) worse. A potential Democratic foe is going to have to do the one thing the other Republican hopefuls failed utterly miserably to do: Find a way to present a better option.
With that said, from arm’s length it’s a fucking fascinating look at the ideas of a pure madman. And none of the extremely few actual policy ideas Trump has put forth is more baffling than the wall.
The proposed wall that would run the length of the US/Mexican border has been repeatedly trumpeted as a core election promise by Trump – and one that the Mexican Government would be forced to pay for.
But the logistics and real financial implications of the project are far more bizarre and astronomical than you might expect.
And, of course, it was John Oliver and Last Week Tonight who (finally) became the first major media organisation to truly delve into the sheer weight of legislative, economic, environmental, bureaucratic, diplomatic, and moralistic barriers that stand in the way of the American people, and a 1,000-mile long, 35-feet high concrete wall that will exist more as an illusion of safety, rather than an actual key measure in curbing unlawful immigration.

Donald Drumpf wants to build a wall on the U.S-Mexico border. Is his plan feasible?

‘Course, you’d need more than ten fingers on your TINY FUCKING HANDS in order to count to $25billion. So it’s no surprise Trump’s figures are all over the shop.
