Gina Rinehart, squillionaire and knower of what’s best for everyone has today released a new video, Gina Rinehart’s Address To The Nation, in which she hopes to deflect criticism levelled at her and convince Australia that she is just a “hard-working businessperson”.
Ok, so it’s not the real Gina, but actress Prudence Vindin (who incidentally is a nominee in our Blogster Awards this year) doing a really good impression of Matt Lucas doing a really good impression of Gina Rinehart, in this spoof of her famous “The Future Of Australia’s Mining Industry Under Threat” video. The team really nails the details, from her faux-casual delivery, to her weirdly obvious cue card reading to her infuriatingly posh pronunciation of the word “is-sues”.
