Watch Emma Watson Get Fired Up For International Women’s Day

Yesterday, on International Women’s Day, actress and all-round excellent person Emma Watson gave a live Q&A session for Facebook, as part of the ongoing #HeForShe campaign for equality.

Watson covered a great range of topics in the one-hour session, including wage inequality, violence, and the gender roles that are embedded in our culture for both men and women.
She even raised the incident last year, in which an anonymous online source threatened to leak nude photos of her in retribution for speaking out in favour of equality, saying it strengthened her resolve to carry on.
“If anything, it made me so much more determined,” she said. “I was just raging. It made me so angry that I was just like, ‘This is why I have to be doing. This. This is why I have to be doing this. If they were trying to put me off, it did the opposite.”
