In today’s ‘why cats are better than dogs’ debate, a family cat has saved a 4-year-old boy from a vicious dog attack in Southwest Bakersfield, California.
The heroic scene, recorded by the family’s surveillance camera, shows little Jeremy innocently playing on his bicycle in the family’s driveway when his neighbour’s eight-month-old labrador/chow mix thought he’d give the ol’ sneak attack a try, biting the boy’s leg and pulling him from his bike.
Nek minnit Tara the Cat arrives, gives the dog a slap on the face chases him away.
