WATCH: 18 Fierce AF Australian Women Talk Gender Inequality For IWD

Happy International Women’s Day, everyone!

The annual celebration of our fierce, powerful, strong, magnificent females is once again upon us for another year – providing a chance to celebrate and admire those you know and love, to appreciate how far we’ve come, and to acknowledge that we still have a long, long ways to go.
In observance of the day, David Jones has commissioned a series of videos entitled “Women In Conversation” which brings together eighteen prominent Australian women from a variety of fields for round table discussions on diverse and meaningful topics such as mental health, gender equality and gender division, relationships, motherhood, and self-belief.
The first episode launched today, and sees Gretel Killeen moderate a panel that features Today Show co-anchor Lisa Wilkinson, model, TV personality, and women’s ambassador Jesinta Campbell, chief commissioner of the Greater Sydney Commission Lucy Turnbull, Studio 10 co-anchor Jessica Rowe, Vogue editor-in-chief Edwina McCann, Harper’s Bazaar editor-in-chief Kellie Hush, comedian Fiona O’Loughlin, chef and food writer Christine Manfield, David Jones director of merchandise Donna Player, actress and comedian Mary Coustas, 2Mar Robotics founder and 2012 Young Australian of the Year Marita Cheng, indigenous consultant Carla McGrath, The Broad Place co-founder Jacqui Lewis, blogger Sheree Commerford, journalist Indira Naidoo, philanthropist Vanessa Fennell, Collective Hub founder and editor-in-chief Lisa Messenger, and nutritional biochemist/best-selling author Dr. Libby Weaver.
It’s a long watch, but it’s an absolutely fascinating and vital video, featuring a bunch of super intelligent women speaking their mind, and speaking with absolute fire.

Hell. Yes.
The other three episodes are up right now, and can be viewed at the David Jones ‘Women in Conversation’ minisite.
