You can find a lot of random shit on eBay, but none more perplexing than seemingly ordinary things on sale for lots and lots of money. Like VHS tapes, Disney VHS tapes. Underline, circle, highlight “Disney.”

Collections of old Disney VHS tapes are being listed for thousands on eBay, presumably because they’re ~old~ and not live-action. One seller has listed a copy of The Little Mermaid on VHS for $14,549. The VHS also comes with “banned cover art” – an accidental penis-like castle tower which was eventually discontinued for obvious reasons.
And then there’s the “Black Diamond” collection which refers to the black diamond logo on the VHS spine. These collections consist of the classics and one particular 10-set is selling for a cool $25,476 on eBay.
This set includes The Fox and the Hound, Cinderella, Bambi, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmatians, and The Great Mouse Detective.
