Unsurprisingly, Trump Had To Pay Staff To Attend & Applaud His Presser

Donald Trump filled Trump Tower filled with paid staffers and instructed them to cheer when he announced his presidency, and now he’s doggone done it again.
The President-Elect paid his staffers to come to his press meeting today, where he told CNN they were “fake news” and slammed Buzzfeed for their release of an enormous dossier filled with claims against Trump, including that he is being blackmailed by Russian intelligence.
He faced hundreds of reporters, and the paid staffers screamed, yelled and clapped as he blasted media outlets by name, as well as particular members of the American media.
Politico report that it was Trump‘s way of dodging the questions he was anticipating about his relationship with Russia, and the aforementioned dossier of strange and unverified claims – which included a memoir about hiring sex workers to perform ‘golden showers’ in a Moscow hotel room.
From Politico:
“It’s very familiar territory, news conferences,” said Trump, who has been more visible on Twitter than in person since Election Day, as he took the podium.
His long absence was the media’s fault, he said, not his.
“We stopped giving them because we’re getting quite a bit of inaccurate news,” he said, before calling Buzzfeed, who published the full 35-page document, a “failing pile of garbage.”
After Trump refused to answer a question from CNN reporter Jim Acosta, he yelled “I’m not going to give you a question. You’re fake news!” His loyal group of paid cheerers, cheered.
Trump also rhetorically asked the crowd “Do you honestly believe that Hillary Clinton would be tougher on Putin than me?” and joyfully yelled in response “No!”
They also screamed in appreciation when Trump was asked if he would be releasing his tax statements:

“Oh gee, I’ve never heard that before. The only ones who care about my tax returns are the reporters. I became president.”
He concluded,
“We have a movement. It’s a movement like the world has never seen before.”
Well – hard to disagree with that. Even if you have to pay the movement to be there.
