Prepare your arteries: another ‘Uber delivers delicious treats’ day is coming. (When will they end? Hopefully never. )
This time, it’s ice cream. Specifically, it’s gourmet one-off ice cream flavours created by three of Australia‘s fave celebrity chefs: George Calombaris, Matt Moran and Neil Perry. They did’m good, boys.
It’s all going down this Friday 15th July. The whole point of the day is to raise money for OzHarvest, the charity that helps feed some of Australia‘s most vulnerable people. 1 ice cream = 5 meals, no liking or praying necessary.
The drill is the same as every other Uber promo day: download the app if you are one of two millennials left in Australia who don’t have it, request the ice-cream option sometime between 11am–5pm, and if you’re successful, the cost ($15) will be charged to your account and half a litre of ice cream will be delivered to your door.
Good eats for a good cause. We’re down.
