THIS IS NOT A GODDAMNED DRILL. THIS IS REAL LIFE.
Sure, UberEATS is great for delivering the no-effort fancy feast you’ve been lusting after. But sometimes you just wanna fuck your world up with chicken nuggets, and having to go to any effort at all to achieve such a thing feels like it defeats the purpose of it entirely.
NOT ANY MORE!
As of today, the blessed golden arches of McDonald’s is officially listed on UberEATS in Melbourne.
The delivery service today confirmed the partnership with Queen of Quarter Pounders that is (as of RIGHT NOW) offering delivery from seven restaurants within Uber’s existing delivery area.
Uber issued a statement to media earlier today confirming the move:
“As part of the partnership between McDonald‘s and Uber, we are rolling out seven restaurants on UberEATS in Melbourne.
Stay tuned as we continue to make McDonald‘s available at the push of a button throughout Melbourne.”
At the time of writing we can confirm that two of the restaurants in the rollout include Macca’s Collingwood and South Melbourne locations.
Uber has been trialling delivery from McDonald’s overseas for a while now, but this represents its first foray into the local market.
There’s no word yet on whether Uber plans on expanding the rollout to more Melbourne locations, or when it plans on putting Macca’s on your doorstep in other cities.
But as far as the good people of Melbourne are concerned, it’s a glorious, glorious day. Macca’s full menu is available on the app, including burgers, meals, desserts, and even the all-day breakfast.
That’s right.
Say it with me, folks.
HOME. DELIVERED. HASH BROWNS.

You know they say it ain’t easy being cheesy, but from today it absolutely is.
