Uber Is Delivering Your Lunch Today, Courtesy Of Australia’s Best Chefs

Whatever lunch plans you had today, cancel ‘em, because Uber is delivering lunches from celebrity chefs round the country, and that’s a better option than whatever leftovers you fanged into a takeaway container and slowly wilting in the fridge, right?

For $12, Sydney kids can get a burger from Neil Perry’s Burger Project. Sweet jesus, it’s the hangover cure we’ve always dreamed of, coming in on a Friday.

Melbourne can expect a dish from George Calombaris, while Brisbane is getting one from Matt Moran, you lucky, lucky bastards.

All the money from today will go towards OzHarvest, an organisation that delivers meals to vulnerable and homeless people in Australia.

The delivery system works pretty much like every Uber system: get on the app, order the meal, it’ll be with you in under 10 minutes.

The only catch: there’s only 200 meals per city, so get cracking.

Here’s what each city is getting:

Sydney: Corned Beef Burger from Neil Perry’s Burger Project

Adelaide: Fire pit pumpkin with goats curd, spiced macadamias and crispy salt bush from Jock Zonfrillo’s Street-ADL

Melbourne: The GC Lunch Box, containing George Calombaris’ favourites:
