Jesinta Campbell and Buddy Franklin have gone ahead and tied the knot, revealing their absolutely beaut union through Instagram – specifically, through the account now known as @jesinta_franklin.
Channel 9 reports the duo got hitched yesterday at an uber-secret ceremony in Queenstown, New Zealand, and supplementary shots suggest the event was a pretty tight-knit affair.
Of course, the couple has overcome a lot on the way to this wondrous union. Last year, as AFL gun Franklin took a leave of absence from his Sydney Swans position to focus on his mental health, Campbell offered nothing but support and praise for his courage.
Then, the couple came under some pretty cooked media scrutiny because of Buddy’s call. One columnist even said the pair should hold off on the nuptials because “mental illness can be hereditary.” Yeah.
For those of ya who are wondering what the couple wore as they overcame that small-minded stigma: she reportedly rocked a v. v. good Vera Wang number, and he was decked out in Hugo Boss.
