Tom Ballard Mistakenly Aired Alex Dyson’s Legit Phone # On Triple J This AM

 

Ooooooooof, dearie me.

Ex-presenter Tom Ballard went on triple j this morning, in order to bid a fond adieu to hosts ‘Matt & Alex‘, who will be leaving the station at the end of the year.

Tom used to present with Alex Dyson on community radio station 3WAY FM before they were at the J‘s, so he decided to play a bunch of throwback clips of him and Alex on air together. 

Once upon a time (some might say simpler times), radio presenters gave out their actual phone numbers. Like, their personal ones. I know – seems crazy now, in this here 2016, right? But that’s how it went down. 

Anyway – poor Alex‘s actual mobile number was in one of the throwback audio clips. Like, it’s still his mobile number to this day. 

UH-OHHHHHHHH. 

It didn’t go unnoticed:
