The Tinder giveth, and the Tinder taketh away.
A London-based dating blogger has identified the worst person you could possibly hope not to match with. Yes, short of anything in ~criminal territory~ this is it: the worst ever Tinder-swiping bonehead. He’s fuckboi numero uno. The créme de la cunt.
Lauren Crouch, who blogs about dating and such at No Bad Dates Just A Good Story, met up with this guy for a coffee date; when she didn’t want to see him a second time due to a lack of spark, he requested that she REFUCKINGFUND him the £3.50 (or AUD$5.30) he blew on her coffee so he could “use it on a date with someone else”.
Look – TO BE FAIR, £3.50 for a some tripe masquerading as coffee is pretty outrageous, but not – as our friend found out – as shitty as spending more than 30 seconds in this dude’s company.
Him: “Have you had dinner yet?”
Me: “No I came straight from work.”Him: “What would you say if I offered to cook you dinner?”Me: “Ermmm…. right now?”Him: “I only ask because I’ve got an Ocado delivery coming tonight.”Me: “I’d had to say no. And then she screenshotted their conversation from later that night, because if you write about dating and you don’t screenshot people being tossers, did it ever really happen?
In fairness, her blog has probably been viewed an extra 500,000 times in the last 24/hrs and been on the receiving end of some solid linkage, so all’s well that ends well.
