TikTok star Rochelle (Roe) Hager has passed away in what has been called a “freak accident” after a tree branch crushed her car in a wind storm, killing her instantly.

Hager was driving in Farmington, Maine when a pine tree blew into her SUV just before 10am. The branch was big enough to cover both sides of the road, with the largest end landing on the driver’s side of the car roof.

With over 130k followers and 1.2 million likes across her posts, Hager was considered a beloved TikTok personality by her followers. Her account @roeurboat3 was often filled with videos of her and her fiancée Brittany Lynn Ritchie, who was reportedly on the phone with Hager when she died.

“It happened really quick,” Ritchie told the Portland Press Herald.

“She has a phone mounted in her vent. I just heard a crash, and then there was nothing. She didn’t see the tree coming. It was instant.

“We were getting married October 16 — we had already gotten the venue and photographer and everything.”

Ritchie has posted videos on Hager’s account in memory of her partner.

“Here’s a draft she had. I’ll be posting her drafts, thank you for all the support. Roe loves you so much,” Ritchie wrote on a recent post.

“I can’t eat or sleep. All I can do is make videos and wish you were here with me,” Ritchie wrote.

Only a few hours ago, Ritchie made a video addressing the TikTok family that she and Hager built together.

“I appreciate every single one of you and Roe loved our TikTok fam. I did go and get her stuff out of the car today,” Ritchie said in a video on her personal account.

“Thank you again for all your support… I appreciate you.”
