As if coronavirus wasn’t a challenge in and of itself…
TikTok user @avalouiise challenged gag reflexes everywhere on Sunday when she uploaded a video of herself licking the toilet seat of an airplane and captioning it “CORONAVIRUS CHALLENGE”.
It was taken down by either TikTok or Ava but not before it was picked up by a Twitter meme account where it has racked up 14.8 million views at the time of writing this article.

Needless to say, everyone lost their shit at the 6 second clip. There was serious backlash in the comments, from accusing the Miami woman to be a “clout chaser” to more serious comments suggesting she be arrested.
She should b arrested for encouraging ppl to get infected. WTF is wrong with her.

Amongst all the hate, was genuine concern for Ava’s health. To which she reassured everyone in another TikTok video:
“I am totally fine, cause coronavirus is a respiratory infection. I don’t have it cause I can still hit the shit out off this puff bar”

Thankfully some jumped to her defence, making the the argument that pretty much everything has more germs that a toilet seat. To this she she clarified she’d wiped it with a disinfectant first. Technically, she could have been exposed to just as many germs by licking her phone, but no one’s ready for that conversation.
So has the challenge taken off? Not really, and for good reason. I’ve only been able to find one other video of someone actually licking a toilet seat.
