There’s Been A Lettuce Recall & We Wanna Know, What You Do Bill Shorten?

News has surfaced today that there’s been a huge recall on pre-packaged lettuce in multiple supermarkets around the country, due to cases of salmonella being linked to the watery green veggie.

Now, while this is extremely boring news (unless you have a certain bag of the greenery in thine own refrigerator), it does now raise some questions about exactly WHAT Labor leader Bill Shorten did during his bizarre socially-awkward supermarket appearance last month
WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO, BILL?
Senior medical advisor Dr Finn Romanes said that 28 adult cases of salmonella had been presented to the Department of Health and Human Services, where as the usual number is only ‘a handful per year’.
“As a result of following up the food histories of a number of people we have discovered a common source – the Tripod Farmers lettuce. Tests of three products from two batches have also tested positive for salmonella anatum bacterium.”

If you’re concerned, the affected products were available at Coles and Woolworths (packaged with the best-before dates up to and including 14th of Jan), and are called:

Check yo fridges everyone, because ol’ Salmonella Bill‘s a-comin’ for ya.
