Looks like the Mardi Gras afterparty is going to be a twin-heavy affair, because The Veronicas have just been announced to perform exclusively at the all-night sweat session after the parade on March 4.
We can only hope they come out swinging in something as strong as the red glitter number from the Arias last year, because god damn was that a look.

Solid advocates for the LGBTQIA community and marriage equality, The Veronicas are a pretty perfect addition to the biggest queer party in the Southern Hemisphere.
This also means that both of the headliners for the event are non-male acts, which kinda shows that it really isn’t that hard to bill women higher in performances. Srsly, Mardi Gras have just done it.
The sisters will be joining Tegan & Sara at the ‘yuge party, which will be raging at the Hordern Pavilion from 10pm till 8am.
Stock up on the body paint and glitter, folks. It’s gunna be a Big Night.
