The US Made A “Show Of Force” Against N. Korea, So Stock Up On Tinned Food

Welp, world’s cooked. Better go stock up on tins of baked beans.

The United States has amped up its rhetoric on North Korea after the country tested a missile which they claim is an ICBM which can “hit anywhere in the world”.
Both the U.S. and South Korea made a show of force off the Korean peninsula by volleying off stacks of ballistic missiles, as a way of showing that the two allies are willing to counter North Korea’s “provocations”.

“President Moon said North Korea’s serious provocation required us to react with more than just a statement and that we need to clearly show our missile defence readiness to North Korea,” South Korean President Moon Jae-in said in a statement.
U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson also issued a statement condemning North Korea’s alleged ICBM launch.
The United States strongly condemns North Korea’s launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile. Testing an ICBM represents a new escalation of the threat to the United States, our allies and partners, the region, and the world. All nations should publicly demonstrate to North Korea that there are consequences to their pursuit of nuclear weapons.

Shit is definitely getting a bit real. There are wildly conflicting reports about the capability of the missile North Korea launched, with many suggesting it would not be capable of hitting the US mainland beyond Alaska.

Welp. Fingers crossed we aren’t all annihilated in nuclear fire, at least until Twin Peaks wraps up.
