Guys, it’s been more than 15 years since ‘Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring‘ opened in cinemas. FIFTEEN GODDAMN YEARS.
Earlier this week, five members of the Fellowship decided to get together and hang out and eat some food together – which has thoroughly delighted this LOTR fangirl of a writer, as I’m sure it has delighted my fellow LOTR fans.
Dominic Monaghan, who played the brave Hobbit Meriadoc Brandybuck (more commonly known as ‘Merry‘) in the films, posted a bunch of photos from the hangout on his Instagram account, which I have now double-tapped so much that my iPhone screen is broken.
Look at this adorable selfie of Dom, Elijah Wood (Frodo) and Billy Boyd (Peregrin Took, AKA ‘Pippin‘)!
And, look at this very cute image of Elijah, Dom, and Billy with Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn) and Orlando Bloom (Legolas)!
They’re using kitchen utensils as weapons, and Orlando is even using a fork as Legolas’ signature bow!

Our hearts are soaring higher and faster than a fell beast, but also, let’s leave a little less time between heavily-photographed catch-ups please. 15 years is just FAR too long.
