The ‘Drake & Josh’ Bro-Hood Is 100% Over After An Alleged Wedding Snub

We’ll admit it: we try to stay on top of the nostalgic remnants of mid-2000s pop culture, ’cause reminiscing about long-gone telly shows can be a genuinely fun time.

Can be. But not always.

In an utterly narrative-destroying development, it appears the eternal bro-hood of Drake & Josh stars Drake Bell and Joshua Peck has come to an end, after Bell was seemingly left uninvited to Peck’s wedding.
Peck married long-time partner Paige O’Brien at a weekend ceremony in Malibu, and Instagram posts of the blessed nuptials reveal his Grandfathered co-star John Stamos was invited along.

That’s swell for him, but the honest chances are that you had no idea he was about to tie the knot.
The thing is, it seems Bell didn’t, either. The bloke who spent four seasons at Nickelodeon beside Peck appears to have found out about the wedding via the internet, and posted a flurry of quickly-nuked tweets.

“When you’re not invited to the wedding, the message is clear,”
Bell wrote.
“True colors have come out today. Message is loud and clear.”
The 30-year-old also quipped “loyalty is key. ALWAYS remember where you came from.” As if this whole saga wasn’t already a kick in the guts.

Numerous outlets have already noted that Bell’s apparent exclusion from the ceremony comes after he actually had a guest spot on Grandfathered, meaning this seeming enmity is relatively recent.

Heartbroken fans have had their say, too. They’re not exactly chuffed.

We’re hoping this is all some huge mistake, and that the pair engage in some wacky hijinks to reaffirm that bond. Look, we didn’t say we were immune from all of this, either.
