The Cullen hotel situation in Melbourne suburb Prahran has just been named in the Top 10 Budget Boutique Accommodation by one of the most respected and renowned travel websites on the world wide web, Mr & Mrs Smith. Rest assured, it has nothing to do with the awkward Brangelina caper and is actually a database for sweet hotels all around the world. Want to propose to your beloved, celebrate a special occasion or just get laid? Hit it up.
Mr & Mrs Smith listed The Cullen at the number 2 spot on the list, making it the “Rock It” by Little Red of internation boutique hotel polls. It beat out The Drake, Toronto, The Standard Miami, Miami, and P’tit Habibi, Marrakech among others, and is a nice reminder that our country is an industry leader in design and hospitality (albeit budget-style).
The hotel was named after Australian artists Adam Cullen and features original paintings and prints by the enfant terrible best known for his Archibald Prize-winning portrait of actor David Wenham in 2000.
