You either love ’em or you hate ’em. But fair play to all involved, this one actually looks pretty damned good.
Australia’s own “YouTube sensations” the Bondi Hipsters have been busying themselves shooting their brand spanking new TV show for ABC2 entitled Soul Mates, which begins airing on the digital multichannel from October 23rd.
The show has dropped its first trailer, and – look – I goddamned laughed. Quite a bit, in fact. That really horrible, gross, snort-laughing you do when something catches you a little off guard? Definitely threw down one o’ dem bad boys.
From all accounts, it appears the show will be sketch-based in nature, revolving around both Dom and Adrian – following their magnificent bromance through four different “lifetimes” – the regular Bondi Hipsters you’ve come to know and love, a pair of cavemen, what appears to be New Zealand hitmen from the 70s (which, frankly, is a magnificent idea) and a pair of hyper-nerdy time travellers.
Credit where it’s due, I’m sure as shit sold.
