Umm holy shit, that was quick! Less than an hour after announcing her departure from the Nine Network’s Today Show, news has just hit that Lisa Wilkinson will be moving to Channel Ten‘s The Project.
Wilkinson tweeted earlier tonight her departure, effective immediately, from her 10-year long gig as host on Today, with a press release from Channel Ten now welcoming her to the rival network.
Network Ten is delighted to to announce that Lisa Wilkinson is joining the network in a senior hosting and editorial role, effective January 2018.
Lisa will join the team of TEN’s award-winning news and current affairs show The Project, in a hosting role.

It looks like come January Lisa will be the central host for the new Sunday edition of The Project as well as popping up elsewhere on the channel.
