In news that will surprise literally no one who knows who Terry Richardson is, the New York Post is reporting that Richardson is being investigated by the NYPD in relation to allegations of sexual assault.
The Post has said that “detectives in the Special Victims Unit” (I did not realise until this moment that that’s actually a real thing) are reaching out to alleged victims after a “number of women” came forward.
According to one of their sources, police were specifically seeking out victims who had been named in the media. Models Jamie Peck, Caron Bernstein, Lindsay Jones, Rie Rasmussen, Charlotte Waters, Gabriela Johansson, and Anna del Gaizo (not an exhaustive list) have all made allegations against of sexual misconduct against Richardson, all of which he denies.
Following the allegations, Richardson was blacklisted from Valentino, Bulgari, Vogue, Glamour, Wired, Vanity Fair and GQ.
