The animals at Taronga Zoo celebrated early this year in the sticky summer heat, with a bunch of festive decorations covered in delish, cold, fresh treats for them to nibble on.
The giraffes were spoilt by Santa with a bunch of merry wreaths strung high above their enclosure, making the long-necked cuties reach up real high with their necks and long tongues to grab the yummy apples nestled among the leaves.

Sweet baby elephant Jai Dee celebrated his first Christmas as the zoo today, with a fresh tree decorated in popcorn and laden with presents of rock melon, carrot and bamboo, and took absolutely no time in destroying the whole thing by knocking over the tree with his trunk.

The resident Squirrel Monkeys were treated to fresh chrissy trees decorated with hibiscus flowers, capsicum stars, and tomato tinsel, which they playfully jumped between, munching down on the fresh fruit and veggies and absolutely screaming in delight. Sounds like me on Xmas day, tbh.

Merry christmas, ya filthy gorgeous animals.
