Sydney’s Iconic Kanye Mural Is Done After ‘Someone’ Bought That $100K Print

Kanye’s The Life Of Pablo isn’t really an album in the traditional sense. The bloke, bless him, is still tinkering with it weeks after its official release, and that ongoing saga has probably spurred just as much interest as the tunes themselves.

In the same way, Scott Marsh’s giant Kanye-on-Kanye tribute mural isn’t just about the bloke pashing himself anymore. Not at all.

After someone from Yeezy’s camp stepped up to the Aussie street artist and offered a chunk of change for him to take it down, Marsh’s counter-proposal – $100k for a one-off print, and a lifetime supply of Yeezy Boosts – sealed the mural as the stuff of legend.

Welp, now the mural is set to vanish, ’cause an unknown buyer has coughed up the cash for that v. exclusive print, and Marsh is coming through on his word. Really.

Yep. An unknown someone – we’re not suggesting any names here – seems to have legitimately picked up the print. Adding authenticity to the development is Marsh’s promise to paint the bloody thing over.

If you want to scope out the mural before it’s whitewashed from the face of the Earth, you best get in quick. It looks like Marsh will soon be standing there with a brush in hand tomorrow – and maybe, just maybe, with fresh Yeezys on his feet.
