Hear that, ya New South Wales champions? That’s the sound of your arteries simultaneously shrivelling in fear and leaping for joy.
We’re smack-dab in the middle of a glorious era of food trucks, and Sydney’s newest addition to the roster might well just take the cake.
Popular nomadic snag slingers The Wienery have at long last landed themselves a permanent portable home, rolling their very first food truck out onto the streets of the inner city last week.
And for those of you blissfully unaware of the powerful concoctions this particular gang of snag slingers dishes up, allow us to give you the scoop:
Bacon-wrapped hot dogs.
Bacon. Wrapped. Hot. Dogs.
As in, regular, delicious hot dogs, wrapped in bacon, cooked, and served directly to you.
Those of you with finely tuned stomachs will recognise this delicious feast from their prior residencies, most recently at the Willie the Boatman brewery in St Mary’s.
But now that they’re officially on the road, the real winners are you, the hungry, hungry customers.
Just how good does the food look? Feast yr dang eyes on these bad boys right sodding now:
Sweet lord baby jeezus that looks the absolute BUSINESS.
The dogs’ll set you back a cool $10 and you can take yr pick from 5 different and equally delicious varieties (set yourself a challenge and do a full lap ya gluttonous fool!).
They’ll be setting up shop tomorrow at Argyle St, Millers Point, near Walsh Bay & The Rocks from 11am until 3pm, so if your office happens to be in the area, there’s your Friday lunch absolutely sorted.
