Sydney Teenager Killed After Attempting Parkour Jump At Tasmania Blowhole

The body of an eighteen-year-old man has been discovered at a blowhole in Tasmania, with police believing he died whilst attempting a parkour manoeuvre.

A land, sea and air search was launched Thursday night for Alexander Vincent after his mother reported him missing around 5pm, with helicopter and foot patrols later finding his body at the Blackmans Bay blowhole.

Due to his known previous interest in parkour, the popular activity combining running, jumping and vaulting terrain, police say they believe he was attempting to clear the 5 metre diameter of the blowhole when he fell to his death.

The incident occurred at the same location as the death of a 17-year-old female earlier in the year.
