At least four people have been injured after a shooting in the Swedish town of Trelleborg, sparking a massive police operation in the vicinity.
A gunman reportedly opened fire at an outdoor market held in the city’s centre at around 10.30pm local time.
Those injured have reportedly been taken to hospital in serious conditions.

Police spokesperson Fredrik Bratt said “when we arrived at the scene, several people with gunshot injuries were found.
“We are blocking certain areas and will conduct an investigation.”
Speaking to Swedish paper Expressen, eyewitnesses described hearing multiple loud bangs in Sweden’s southernmost town, and finding the streets closed by law enforcement authorities.
A manhunt continues, and sniffer dogs have been brought into the area to aid investigations.
