Suzi Taylor Flat Out Denies Dating Geoff Edelsten, Says They Met Yesterday

 

This isn’t said often, but we are SCREAMING at this update to the illustrious story of the alleged new Edelsten missus. SCREAMING. 

So yesterday, news broke that Geoffrey Edelsten was dating controversial ‘The Block’ contestant Suzi Taylor. A match made in bloody heaven, if you ask us or anyone in the world, ever.

Firstly, the pair were photographed at an event in Melbourne last night; the opening of the Meatball & Wine Bar opening night on Chapel St. (That’s not to say an event photo confirms a romantic sitcho, of course.)

But, to our delight, the relationship was then CONFIRMED by Edelsten himself. He told the Herald Sun that she was “beautiful looking lady”. 

H O W E V E R. 

Suzi has now given a statement to Daily Mail Aus, saying she has absolutely no bloody idea why Geoff would think that. 

THAT’S CORRECT, she said she had “no idea” what gave him that impression, and has flatly denied being in a relo with the septuagenarian:

“I met him at a soiree tonight (Wednesday).

I’m actually very friendly, we really hit it off … But we’re just friends.”

SO SHE ONLY MET HIM FOR THE FIRST TIME YESTERDAY. YES. TER. DAY. 

The reality star also posted an image to her Instagram account, saying she is “very much single”:

Don’t believe anything you read about me in any of the garbage press. I’m very much single, and my sole attention and focus is on my beautiful children who I love dearly. I have no room in my life at present for a man.

Suzi‘s representation has also denied the relationship, saying the story was ‘absolutely false’, and clarified the pair were ‘just new friends’.

This is the second time this has happened to poor ol’ Geoffrey this year – in October, he publicly gushed about his relationship with Playboy model Ashley Kirk, whose representation firmly denied the relationship and said they had “no idea how the rumours got started”. 

We ended our story yesterday by saying, ‘Who knows, this might be the one that lasts‘. Sadly no, it seems – but hey, ~9 hours ain’t bad.
