Suspect Arrested Over NYE Turkish Nightclub Shooting That Left 39 Dead

Turkish security forces have reportedly arrested Abdulkadir Masharipov, the man who killed 39 people in a shooting at an Instanbul nightclub on New Year’s Day.

He was reportedly captured in Esenyurt, Istanbul, after allegedly being on the run since the attack in the early hours of January 1st. He was reportedly with his son when he was captured.

During the manhunt, Turkish authorities reportedly detained up to the 35 people.
