Donald Trump Jr has been called to testify in front of a government panel investigating his pop’s links to Russia, after it was revealed he met with a “Russian government attorney” who promised seriously incriminating dirt on Hillary Clinton.
It seems unlikely any lawyer would let Donald Trump Jr. appear under oath before a congressional committee where Dems can ask him anything.

Manafort was also present at the July 2016 meeting, and his team is presenting the same message as Trump Jr’s. According to Manafort spokesperson Jason Maloni, they received the committee’s request and are reviewing their options.
Jared Kushner, Trump Jr’s brother-in-law and a vital figure in the Trump campaign, has also been called to testify behind closed doors for the Senate intelligence committee. You guessed it: Kushner was present at the meeting too.
His attorney Abbe Lowell confirmed Kushner would face the committee on July 24, and that “he will continue to cooperate and appreciates the opportunity to assist in putting this matter to rest.”
FWIW, a steady drip-feed of scoops regarding the meeting forced Trump Jr to post the email chain about its organisation to his own Twitter. If that’s his response to a string of media bombshells, you can only imagine what’ll happen if he’s all-but interrogated on live television.
